White Dog Cafe

white dog is one of my fav cafe. Y leh? hee…
it’s bcos:

1. it’s cheap(the lunch menu is cheap cheap)
2. it has a gd view
3. it’s edible(erm.. most food r edible la.. juz dat too me gd food r more edible than lousy 1s)

Oh ya.. in my subsequent post u’ll probably realise i have very low vocab bank ba. Cos the way i describe food is very good, edible, not edible. hahhahah… Will try to find more vocab ba. But have to bear wif me orh.

Ok. enuff of my ramblings. Let me brief u a bit abt the food u r goin to see. They are mainly from their lunch menu(cos i’ve the tendency to go dere during lunch only).

Their lunch menu is under $20 lor. consists of a soup, main course, tea/coffee/ice-tea. They provide water too(in those cute cute ikea bottles). I tink it’s pretty impt to provide water lor. I noe dere r sum posh restaurants dat juz serve evian or sparkling mineral water.Pls lor, our ctry has the world class water std… our tap water is pretty safe and the most boil it can le ma. k la.. i’m naggy le. here’s the pics. Starter

ice tea wif chicken consome for starter.

i noe it’s juz clear chicken soup. but it’s nice lor. if u dun like, can juz add $2 or $3 for lobster bisque or sum other soup ba.

Main courses

Most of their names i can’t rmb. But roughly wat’s the ingredient inside i can still rmb and the taste lor. I didn’t really record dem down every time i go dere, so haf to pardon me arh.

this dish has my fav almonds and cheese.. hehe. Chicken tink is grilled or baked wif almond or cheese is not too bad. But i find it a bit dry and tasteless. The accompanying sauce did a fabulous job lor. W/o it, It’ll probably fail my edible std. I love their butter rice. A lot of their dishes r accompanied wif butter rice. Makes the meal more filling lor.
Rating : 6/10( no sauce probably fail liao lor)

i tink dis is deep fried beef fillet. It’s coated wif bread crumbs. My bf ate dis the last time we were dere. personally i dun eat beef(not religious reasons) I juz plainly dun like their taste. eeks. Ya i noe i miss out on really gd stuff like wagyu beef etc. Too bad for me ba. hee… anyway, my bf tink is not bad ba. he dun haf much pref for food lor. But we haf diff tastes 1. So can’t really say much abt it. No ratings for dis.

the top of dis pic is a stirloin steak. fen had dat, she find it decent. It’s done medium well, so shldn’t be too bad lor.

the bottom 1 is chicken wif some tea and cream sauce. I like it, cos the chicken isn’t too dry and not too overwhelmed by the tea taste or the cream sauce. Oh ya.. i forgot to mention abt the pasta sauce on the butter rice. It’s really nice. hehe… Guess i’m totally in love wif their buttered rice.

If i’m not wrong, dis is grilled swordfish. I find it rather bland even wif the sauce. Even wif the buttered rice, it failed pretty terribly. it came to me cold too.
Ratings:3/10(shld be the lousiest of all)
